Safeguarding & Protection of Children Workshop - May Update

The planned workshop went ahead with 7 attendees from various Scottish Water Ski Clubs gaining their certification. This was an excellently workshop deliverd by Pamela Colburn who is an Active Schools Co-ordinator in Dunblane

The feed back from the attendees was very encouraging. I would advise anyone who is currently dealing with children in any position whether it be coaching/driving or just simple volunteering etc. to get in touch with your local authority and get yourself onto this very worhwhile workshop.

Please note a date has been set for the Safeguarding & Protection of Children Workshop for Club Welfare Officers or their delegate.

Venue NTS Townhill, Dunfermline

This workshop is a must for people who are working with children in a sporting environment, e.g. at a club, waterskiscotland and our affiliated clubs are fully committted to protecting children in sport, this workshop is the perfect platform to assist and give guideance in this area
