WATER SKI / WAKEBOARD INSTRUCTORS QUALIFICATION
As well as boat driver courses 'waterskiscotland' hold regular training and examination days for Water Ski and Wakeboard Instructors Qualification.
The awards are run and governed by British Water Ski, the UK Governing Body for the sport. Both qualifications are equivalent to SNVQ Level 2 and are based on a two-day training and testing course inclusive of on water testing of both coaching and personal skiing ability. The Water Ski qualification is aimed at the teaching of beginners to mono skiing. Wakeboard Instructors require demonstration of technique from board control, wake jumping from both sides to basic surface tricks.
